Add the ‘Append Text’ Tool step to your Tool
You can add the ‘Append Text’ Tool step to your Tool by:- Creating a new Tool, then searching for the ‘Append Text’ Tool step
- Click ‘Expand’ to see the full Tool step
- Select the account you would like to use
- Select the document you would like to append text to.
- Enter the text you would like to append to the document.
- Check whether you would like to append at the beginning of the document.
- Click ‘Run step’ to test out the Tool
Parameters
The document you would like to append text to. You can get the document ID from the URL of the document between
/d/
and /edit
.The text you would like to append to the document.
When this option is checked, the text will be prepended to the beginning of the document.
